Earlier in the day the thrush crushed a snail …..it’s empty shell is by her feet!
Now she sits up here on the roof looking at the sunset….
Like they sit on roof tops and poles…..

I haven’t seen a thrush cracking open a snail for ages. There are Song Thrushes around but I only hear them sing.

She was really quite violent. But very delicate about not leaving a morsel behind!

I love the thrush – can I give it an official invitation to visit our garden and feast on our escargot before they get the beans and courgettes 😉
