Hi Jet…. yes the robin is taking guard round the garden again and yes that is a pheasant family (or gathering)of about 15 in all at the edge of a field nearby! They were very busy chattering and scratching for food they didn’t see me but soon scurried away when they did. 🙂

That first photo is so atmospheric; makes me think of a Grimm Brothers fairytale – the Hansel and Gretel house perhaps! Beautiful.
