through stinging things towa rds a tune written in the sky
The gap in the wall by a blackberry hedge
Has led me to this stinging field.
Above, beyond, a glittering patch of coloured angel dust
Suggests the drama has begun.
While power lines, tamed into a music phrase
Dance wide across the sky
Towards the breaking sun
