Matinee: Looking at the birds (who watch the sun come up)

2014 04 27 Birds Hermia Lysander Helena jpg sig

Yesterday
With time to dream
I snapped the birds
Who march in step!
Along the lines, right by my house.

Meet Helena (who flew away)
And Hermia…. who will be biting Lysander soon!

Left to right: Hermia, the loved up Lysander and….. Helena. (Demetrius is off)

  1. When I see a pigeon I tend to want to get a shot gun out – they come and eat things in my garden, so I was really pleased to get a gentler perspective. (Only joking, we don’t shoot our pigeons). Sue

    1. I understand! These three were doing a march in step on the line out there and not a bit interested in anything to eat right then. So they live another day Gill 🙂

  2. I am awarding you the Premio Dardos award. There are also 6 awards I’m offering to all my readers, which you can take any or all of those. If you don’t accept awards, sorry about that, it’s just my way of saying thank you for coming by. For more details, please view this post http://wp.me/p41c99-MI Take care, Sage

    1. That’s what I thought …on parade; actually marching on parade all the way along the line. Then the lady on the right moved a little bit further away as the lady at the back pecked at the boy in the middle to remind him he was with her ! I have more photos which caught what happened but they all looked as if they were nicely in step for a while and I liked that! But there was a lot of tension there I couldn’t make out at first because they were all so in step with each other, but of course it was a case of three’s a crowd! ( That’s how I spent Saturday afternoon! Working out pigeons! kind of sad!!) Hugs Gill 🙂
