Thanks for your appreciation of the finer points in the photo! Ha ha!.So intent on the flowers to the front I hadn’t intended to flatten the landscape. But flattening the landscape happens all the time just there! We are high up on a hill and there is a dip with a river quite hidden from view in the middle of the space behind those flowers with a church houses etc all tucked away and the horizon you see is simply the top of the hill beyond the dip which rises up on the other side. So ‘Short depth’ is an amazingly spot on description of what cannot see behind those flowers! When I took that photo yesterday I was just wishing I knew the name of the flowers and took what I hoped would be a clear picture so that I could look it up details later!
