Very nice. We have hollyhocks all around the front of our house. My mom loves them – they’re her favorite. Somehow they seem rather Victorian to me — in a good way.
They’re kind of an amusing flower too — they grow so big that they can’t hold up their own weight. 🙂
You are so right John. They are old fashioned… Victorian and amusing . The ones that grew here this year reached beyond the second floor and only stood tall because the ivy grabbed them tight! 🙂 🙂
