Gill McGrath June 25 Diary
Moon looked fascinating over in the field. Came back, and found out ,on the chart, that he had appeared for the first time at about 3.38 am, so he had been out for less than an hour and was actually on the rise. The sun appeared (in glory) about 5 am. The Moon should be about all day, but will be very hard to spot as the sun looks as if its going to stay bright in the blue. The rabbits, this morning, seemed not to care that I was there and were a delight. They started washing and running about and let me take photos! So checking out their pictures now.

Hiding in the Field: Rabbit
midsummer moon 4.30am

Woke up (as you do) and went to make a cup of coffee. Kettle on, I opened the back door ( oh dear!) and the moon was sitting there above the washing line (grabbed the camera). Virginia Creeper, in silhouette, looks, I think, a tad magical at this hour.(Bit later walked over to the field to take some photos of the sun). Diary Gill June 22 (midsummer)
