Looks a lot like my sunset. Every night and every morning the sun says that we are in for a wonderful time. And then people stuff things up. Wouldn’t it be nice to be a blackbird.

What a miracle to wake up to!

It truly was. I was in bed (curtains open) and saw a bit of pink glow in the darkish sky and thought it was my eyes playing tricks but leapt out of bed looked out over to the side of the house and the sky was all aglow over the field and raising its game. I jumped out dressed (sort of )flung on a coat , remembered boots and camera….. and I was there! It was better than anything I had seen before I reckon. My camera’s battery just about lasted. I missed the more subtle pink light on the actual sweep of grassland over there due to too many eager shots of the main show bleeding the battery dry. Photo not altered in anyway! ❤
