Sometimes , in some places in this surrounding landscape light goes brown / gold once the sun is up and out of any cloud for a few minutes. It was doing it big time today. Quite a magic moment. This light rolls and doesn’t appear on everything ( and not always) but it is very visible when it does! It went from pink to brown over about 15 minutes on this spot. There are other photos I took which show this and I am putting them together with care. By the time the sun is really up high in the sky the atmosphere changes yet again to something more ordinary ( and green) and really rather drab! I had meant to photograph the sun rise proper ( which happened further along the horizon to the right of this pic) but it was too cold and I got more hung up on the atmospheric changes anyway ! [ its like photographing air ]
