this morning… between the purple layers
Poetry Challenge…Non-love…
What is there left?
In me
Of you
Forever there.
The part that’s you
Still there with me.
Was it
Your eyes
Of blue.
Strange
How I tired of them.
Your smile
Unfunny.
Your dreams
Never.
Your voice
Your hopes
Still
So loud
I cannot remember
A single word.
But
Your hands.
Your hands.
The way they were.
Forever Gentle.
Stay forever
I remember….
‘People should fall in love with their eyes closed’

tonight. found-a high place to sit
Suddenly…. blue and cotton cloud
found in the blue with violets
mother blackbird. her morning. view
The Faberge Watch
catching the moment……
at seven the sun a peach caught in a pretty haze
dancing in and out the wires!
vanilla mists on the field in full cling caught casting dew
on every blade of grass making violets drip
with diamonds on the scented path
then blue skies and magnolia …at last
(and Jack in ermine strutting his stuff close by) – Gill McGrath©
