…….whilst waiting for sun hiding in the hedge.
Not a good start really. It was too early, and camera battery soon died anyway.
Returned for other camera, then caught geese sounds and the quarter bell ( that was a first).
Counted 30 high up planes to Heathrow.Trails awesome.Wide sky.
It was far too cold out there. Sun, purple to soft pale pink but I froze. Was back by 6.
Took about an hour or two to thaw. Delighted with some of the shots… but here’s the pigeon!

Acting Space
I was reading
A Philosophy
By Andy Warhol .…….
Laying on the cushions on my great big sofa
(Which I treat more like a bed).
Not feeling at all lovely
Watching tele
Feeling slummy,
Peeling spuds!
While I read
(Call it multi- tasking!)
And then the master said
It’s glamorous
Living in one room
With just a bed!
And doing everything there…..
(Call it multi tasking!)
Here’s the actual words he said:
‘Everything is more glamorous when you do it in bed anyway.
Even peeling potatoes’
So with my spuds now ready for the pan
And from……………….my sort of bed
I suddenly felt glamorous
(And ready to act carrots!) No, no, no!

#napowrimo2014. Day 20. (Or the promise of Lines daily)
Up with the Lark!
Wake up world, where are you!
I’m wide awake!
It’s not that blooming early
It’s seven- twenty five
The Kettle has already boiled
And Coffee’s done
Just look out there…..
It’s cold
It’s cloudy
And just a little misty
And every-thing still dares to sleep
Even the birds are quiet. Just pigeons moaning
And the cat out there with nothing to do…. digs
Perhaps it’s time for a pause
Its Sunday
I’m going back to bed!
Gill. Diary. Today. Apparently early (not poetry, just saying, job done)
Easter. Everyone home. Found. Something for the wall.
From chimney top. Bird ignores Dawn kiss
A: for alphabet sky
No car, so had to use the bus today.
Was able to stare at the yellow fields across the way…..
And as I sat
I promised me to walk there on another sunny day.
Perhaps.
Then I looked up and
Saw the sky, specially blue and clear and
Tiny little air planes were busy painting there..
I watched a line become a kiss; an X against the blue !
So with promises of more shapes to come I……
Fiddled for my camera
But it wasn’t there!
So I missed the shot of an upside down V turning into an A!
