Hi Gill, hope all is well with you. The snowdrops look lovely, I’ve got some in my garden also. Any flower that decides to come out in January is truly brave (or crazy). In the next month crocuses will be blooming brilliant, complete with the yellow bit in the middle which is saffron. Saffron is worth more than it’s weight in gold. I’ve planted loads and loads and loads and loads, but not because I want to be rich, it’s because “I’m mad about Saffron”… I think “She’s mad about me”… “they call it mellow yellow”
Hi Mark, How great to hear from you and about your flowers. I have been dancing round various parks round here in the past few days between rain and in the sun and found tons of flowers. Aconites today…. of all things….. bright yellow. I hope we don’t start to get snow, it really feels like the promise of spring. I think I might put the aconites on here in a minute or two. They are amazing.I have taken so many pics in the last two days (700)9 not just aconites) The fields around here are flooded out but there the aconites were! Tough little things!!! Nothing Mellow about em either!!!.:)
I usually love the snow but because the Winter has been so mild I’m hoping for an early Spring so the garden can have a good long year… It’s so exciting.

On the bus today I overheard two women getting excited about the snowdrops they had seen somewhere. Snowdrops not snow then!! I’ll settle for that!
