I am intrigued by the flowers . One of them looks like asters ‘family and the other (white bowls ) to the Carduus family ??? This uncertainty despairs me ! ๐ Fortunately there is a splendid sunset for solace! ๐

Hi Michel. I am not very good on names but I think they are both a type of Echinacea in the process of losing or having lost their daisy like petals. They are not thistles. love Gill.
I really like the interspersed photos of fading flowers and golden spotlight. You have a graceful approach to the end of the summer, and I like it. ๐
Exquisite!
