I am intrigued by the flowers . One of them looks like asters ‘family and the other (white bowls ) to the Carduus family ??? This uncertainty despairs me ! 🙂 Fortunately there is a splendid sunset for solace! 🙂

  Hi Michel. I am not very good on names but I think they are both a type of Echinacea in the process of losing or having lost their daisy like petals. They are not thistles. love Gill.
